Кумбсом с соавт. в 1946; нарушение экспрессии генов Г.к.К. связано с проявлением синдрома Мак-Леода < McLeod syndrome>.

(см. ABO, Bombay, Duffy, Dombrock, Kell, Kidd, Lewis, Auberger, Lutheran, M-N, P blood groups); свойство Г.к. стабильность на протяжении всей жизни (при формировании в раннем онтогенезе); впервые Г.к. обнаружены у человека К. Ландштейнером в 1900.
